TAMPA BAY, Florida, August 1, 2020 — Summer 2020 for Buzz Pops has been interesting to say the least. Like many small to medium size businesses throughout the USA this has been a trying time. Covid-19 has shuttered its entire food service customer base. Due to the dedication and laser focused determination of its CEO, Joseph Isaacs, adjustments have been made on multiple fronts which include manufacturing, giving back and becoming a partner of the National Association of Caterer’s and Events (NACE) in order to thrive and move forward with plans for 2021.

In the spirit of being a socially conscious company and at the outset of the pandemic, Buzz Pop Cocktails offered free mini boxes of its world famous Buzz Pops to front line COVID-19 Healthcare workers and first responders throughout the USA via a Facebook campaign. This donation of $50,000 in pops made it easier for these doctors, nurses and first responders to cope with the medical crisis that hit the USA.

“With time being tough for doctors and nurses at facilities across the country, we felt a need to chip in and help relieve some of that day to day stress,” says Joseph Isaacs, CEO. “We are glad to help in this small way and brighten so many people’s day,” he adds.

Additionally, during this crisis Buzz Pops made a conscious decision to eliminate all plastic in its packing by 2021 and to move towards a 100% biodegradable material. This was a multi-prong decision by the management team to utilize a more sustainable packaging as well as end the dependence on China for this supply. “The new biodegradable packaging will allow us to move forward in a manner consistent with our healthy philosophy and thus doing our part to save the planet by eliminating single use plastics here in the USA”, say Mr. Isaacs. “A sustainable package allows us to be sold at more theme parks through the USA and we intend to expand the distribution globally”, he adds.
